dearest chancellor,
i know you don't like the term mash-up (i think maybe you feel it's being used a cutesy hipster tag for the classic dj standard we know as the blend) however, this Q-UNIT joint is a prime example of a true "mash up" and i'll tell you why i'd say so. i've only actually listened to the first track, but based on it alone, you can tell that they've more than simply "blended" the acapella with an instrumental queen song. whoever made it, changed the beat. they've combined elements of the classic queen anthem and added 808 drums, amongst probably other things. now, personally, i don't think it "blends" very well, but it is certainly without a doubt "mashed" up. see what i'm saying? i know, i know, you cram to understand. one thing is for sure... fitty looks good in ANY mustache you can throw at him.

I wonder how many other great things Mr.Jackson refused to that ended up blowing up in his face?

James,
I am not sure what the difference between a blend and a mash up is. What you described was what I used to hear Red Alert and Ron G do. The original remixes that Mr. Magic and those guys used to do. As my lawyer says we need a 'definition of terms'
And to the Anonymous cats who want to get on the boards to air a beef with me because of some estranged business deal. Please don't. Be a man (or woman) and step to me. This blog is not for that. I will delete yor comments.
