I loved Kanye for a minute, and I still really like his music, but I find that I am almost disappointed in Kanye, the person, at this point, and that tempers my enthusiasm for his music. I like "Brand New" better than "Gold Digger" and "Diamonds."

That's Lance Armstrong's thing. Maybe there's been a resurgence because the Tour de France is on right now?

i got something that says 'Late registration' but it sounds like pieces from all those old mix tapes...I am feeling the Diamonds video with his Kanye's dramatic ass

yo, i was talking bout the rubber lance braclets! the bootlegs! they have all kinds of different colors out... i saw a (possible) c.r.i.p. rockin a blue one on each wrist! stylin!
as far as our man kanyetotha is concerned, i was going to ask what you thought about that diamonds video. dramatic is right.
but yo, does anybody else feel like the whole (from seria leone) thing seems as if it was tacked on as an afterthought? I mean hey, don’t get me wrong, i'm all for it - people aught to know the ultimate cost of their sparkly jewlery, and i appreciate kanye puttin it out there on MTV. but if you listen to the lyrics, the song has NOTHING to do with peoples getting killed in africa over diamond mines. it’s more kanye tellin you how great he is and how fools shoulda gave him more grammys.
other than that, it’s sort of a comment on the seemingly shaky state of the mighty R.O.C. isn’t it?

oops.
yeah the Sierra Leone thing seems like a complete afterthought. I still think the album will be a monster.
